Products are not for human consumption, animal consumption or clinical
applications
Statement of use:
SPI Supplies offers all products on this website strictly for applications
in research, testing and analysis, development work, and education. These
items are not being offered for clinical or diagnostic applications, agricultural uses or for
human or animal consumption.
Since shipments of these items going to residential address have a high
likelihood of use in these prohibited applications, it is our policy to not
make shipments of certain items to residential addresses that have a high
likelihood of ending up in such applications.
SPI Supplies can not be a policeman for how these products might be used.
However we do make due diligence efforts to help make sure that our products are
not going to be used in such prohibited applications. Should you receive
communications from our firm seeking additional information about intended
use, please don't be upset with us, we are only trying our best to behave as
a responsible vendor during times when there is a growing number of "dual
use" applications for some of our products. We know that our gelatin
capsules for example, have applications in electron microscopy but they also
have applications in the illicit drug trade, something with which we absolutely do not want to
have any involvement.
