Each case contains 6 x 120 ml of PolyFreeze cryostat embedding medium. The material sections flawlessly at routine frozen specimen thickness of 5-6 痠 and leaves no slide residue. It provides for -20° C cryostat sectioning for light microscopy in a rapid setting embedment. And of course, PolyFreeze is completely water soluble.
