Mixing of the final staining solution
Recipe for making the solution:
Use a 100 bottle, flat bottom, which might be more convenient than a
Erhlenmeyer flask, which is then placed on a magnetic stirrer, add the
required SPI Chem Lead Citrate, close the bottle, and let it stir that way
for several hours to ensure dissolution.
Then add concentrated sodium hydroxide
and continue to let it stir until the solution "clears". The store under
refrigeration in an approved laboratory refrigerator until time of use.
