Typical transmittance spectra
The transmittance spectrum is present for the SPI-Chem™ Cadmium Telluride.
CdTe has a short-wave edge of transparency around 800 nm, so one normally
does not measure the absorption coefficient between 800-900 nm.
For some reason, we are often times asked about the absorption coefficient
in the 800-900 nm range and that is why this range is mentioned specifically.
For high-purity CdTe crystal it's safe to assume that absorption coefficient
is 0.1 cm-3 at 900 nm.
